Shoshone is a Busy Town

This Saturday20151107_101328 morning may be cold but that doesn’t stop those that give back to their community. This morning the Shoshone City and Rural Firefighters are at the intersections of Greenwood and Rail Streets collecting donations for the annual Turkey Drive. The money raised goes towards the Turkey basket that are put together by the food panties in Lincoln County. When traveling through be sure to stop and support the Shoshone Firefighters.

While you are out be sure to stop at the Christ Episcopal Church for their Bazaar. Lunch will be served from 11:30 to 1:00 pm and will be serving soups and pies for $5.00. The Bazaar will continue till 2:00 pm this afternoon.

Starting at noon today you can create Christmas Cards for hospitalized wounded veterans. Head over the Golden Years Senior Center to create your Christmas Cards. You can do this from 12:00 pm to 4:00 pm.

All this in our small town of Shoshone that keeps busy.
